Whitechapel Village Hall is a fantastic venue that can accommodate all functions, including christenings, parties, engagement parties and much more. Each hall can accommodate 150 people.
We charge £20.00 per hour per hall and your booking time should include setup and clear down times. For all day bookings we will offer you a “day rate” which is usually discounted on the hourly rate. If you want to hire both halls at the same time a discounted rate can also be applied. There is a minimum of 3 hours for booking the halls.

Transport/Taxi Firm
Our hall is situated on the edge of the Forest of Bowland in a village called Whitechapel. The venue is 20 minutes away from Preston City centre and 10 minutes away from Longridge.
We recommend R S Travel Longridge as a local taxi firm.
Weddings
This venue is perfect for weddings of all sizes. With the ability to book both halls the venue as a whole package can accommodate 300 people.
With the ability to close off both halls the village hall is a venue that can be transformed for your special day.

We have a range of 5ft circular tables that will seat 8 – 10 people and rectangular trestle tables that seat 6 – 8 people, chairs and benches can also be hired alongside these.
The neutral decor makes the hall easy to decorate and has the facility to install lining to create an effect on an indoor marquee; the halls have been transformed for many corporate events and weddings.
The village hall can also accommodate bands, singers or DJ’s, with a relaxed closing curfew the venue is in a perfect location overlooking Beacon Fell. The village hall also comes with a large car park. The sports facilities can also be hired alongside the halls of required.
Kitchen facilities on site are available, with the addition to hire crockery and kitchen equipment there is scope to use this facility on the day. For larger parties we do recommend outside catering. Please get in contact and we can talk through your requirements for this.
Typically, for a Saturday function we would recommend that the Hall is hired on a Friday afternoon (set-up), Saturday for the Reception and Sunday (clear-down).
