Set in the heart of the countryside, Whitechapel Village Hall is a welcoming and flexible venue for birthdays, christenings, weddings, family celebrations and community events.
Every booking includes use of both spacious adjoining halls, giving you plenty of freedom to create the layout that works best for your occasion. The neutral décor, wooden flooring and built-in stage provide a lovely blank canvas that can be dressed simply or completely transformed.
Whitechapel Village Hall is a DIY venue, giving you the freedom to choose your own food, decorations and suppliers. Hire includes both halls, tables and chairs, toilets, the stage and one basic prep kitchen with tea and coffee-making facilities, a fridge, freezer and small cooker. Hirers and caterers must supply their own crockery, glassware, serving equipment and anything else required for the event.
A fully stocked and staffed in-house bar is also available to hire for selected events.
With plenty of on-site parking and a friendly, local feel, Whitechapel Village Hall is ideal for gatherings both large and small. The hall is run by volunteers from the surrounding community, and we are proud to offer an affordable countryside venue that supports local families, businesses and suppliers.
Whitechapel Village Hall also offers excellent sports facilities for the local community and visitors.
Our multi-use games area, known as the MUGA, includes three football pitches, three tennis courts and a netball court. It is available to hire for sports sessions, clubs, children’s parties, group activities and team-building events.
There is also a private snooker room available to hire.
The hall is proud to host a number of much-loved local events throughout the year, including the Christmas Fair, the Blacksticks Blue 10K and performances by Whitechapel Players.
